Good Health, Good Living Expo is a health, fitness and lifestyle expo that showcases the latest techniques, trends and tips for healthy living as well as expert advice on how to improve your lifestyle.

Launched in 2011, the objective of the exhibition is to provide a platform for individuals, companies and specialists in health, fitness and lifestyle-related fields to showcase and sell their products, services and accessories to the general public.

Highlights of the expo include interactive and informative presentations, seminars and performances by industry experts.

OPENING TIMES OF HALL FOR EXHIBITORS

Wednesday 26 September – Thursday 27 September 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Friday 28 September – Saturday 28 September 8.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m.

Access to the exhibition centre by vehicle

All heavy goods must be delivered to the stands by the evening of Thursday 27 September 2011 at the latest to avoid congestion. NO traffic will be allowed near the doors of Hall 3 on Friday 28 September and Saturday 17 September inclusive. All motor vehicles must be in the designated parking area by Gate 3 (next to Academy of Music), which is near Hall 3.

During the build-up period: vehicle and pedestrian access will be through Gate 4 only.
During opening time: vehicle parking will be through Gate 3 directly into a secure area.
Delivery to the Stands during the expo: no vehicles will be allowed into the Exhibition Centre. It is a short walk from Gate 3 Parking area to Hall1, which should make deliveries to the stands easy.

AT ALL TIMES EVERYBODY ENTERING THE EXHIBITION CENTRE MUST CARRY A VALIDENTRY PASS OBTAINABLE FROM THE ADMINISTRATION OFFICE AT GATE 4. Exhibitor’s badges are also valid during the build-up period.

Pedestrian access during Good Health, Good Living will be via Gate 1 (Parirenyatwa St., opposite 14th Avenue) only, for both Exhibitors and for the public.

Exhibitors car parking

Please note that during Good Health, Good Living, Exhibitors’ parking will be available within the Exhibition Centre in the vicinity of Gate 3, Hillside Road. As a result, vehicles will not be allowed to park anywhere else in the Exhibition Centre. Entry/Exit for vehicles before the start of Good Health, Good Living will be through Gate 4 only (Hillside Road). All passengers, including the driver, must have a valid entry ticket (Exhibitor’s Badge). Only one free parking car sticker will be issued per exhibitor. Extra stickers will be available at US$1 for the duration of Good Health, Good Living.
During InterShop, exhibitors may gain access to the Restricted parking area from within the Exhibition Centre by using the ZITF Show pass. The Show (Parking) pass should be stuck on the car window in a visible place to avoid being refused entry into the parking area.

Visitors car parking

Visitors can park their vehicles anywhere outside the Exhibition Centre.
They may also park in the Exhibitors Car Park, where a US$2 parking fee will be levied.

Tickets and badges

Tickets, badges and vehicle passes that will be in use during InterShop will be available from the ZITF Reception with effect from Wednesday 26 September 2011. Please make arrangements to collect your allocation BY 4.30 P.M. THURSDAY 27 SEPTEMBER, from Mr R Ndlovu at the Reception desk in the Administration Office by Gate 4, Hillside Road. We encourage exhibitors to wear an Exhibitors Badge so that they can be identified easily by the visiting public.

2 complimentary badges for exhibitors will be issued per stand. These badges allow unlimited entry into the Exhibition Centre. Additional exhibitors’ badges may be obtained from Mr R Ndlovu free of charge while stocks last.

Facilities for exhibitors/visitors

A Catering Outlet with full take-away facilities will be in operation in Hall 3 near Door 8.

Some hints for successful selling
  • Welcoming, enthusiastic and helpful attitude towards visitors.
  • No eating or drinking on the stand.
  • No empty bottles or greasy wrappers.
  • Attractive display rather than disorderly clutter.
  • Reasonable Pricing: Visitors expect bargains!
  • Clear price labeling of goods.
  • Provide, if possible, wrapping or plastic carrier bags.

Cleaning of hall

ZITF employees will be allowed entry into the Hall at least one hour prior to Good Health, Good Living opening time each day to sweep the Hall. Only Door 4, guarded by Security personnel, will be opened. ZITF will also be responsible for arranging refuse removal from the Exhibition Centre daily.

Rubbish for collection must be placed at Door 4 of Hall 3. Please DO NOT obstruct passages or fill neighbours’ stands with packaging or building materials.

Hire services

1 Trestle table and 2 chairs are included in the rental of the stand. You may also:
a) bring your own, or
b) hire additional items from ZITF (see ZITF Marketing Department), or
SOMEONE WILL BE ON DUTY IN THE COORDINATOR’S OFFICE IN HALL 3 TO MAKE DELIVERIES OF FURNITURE TO YOUR STAND.

No additional trestles and chairs will be issued without payment. Delivery to your stand will take place once you have advised Mr Dobola, the Good Health, Good Living Coordinator, that someone is on your stand to sign for the items.

Name/stand number on stand

For ease of identification, would exhibitors kindly display their names and stand numbers in a clearly visible position so visitors with a catalogue may be able to locate your stand easily.

Sale of foodstuffs and fireworks

All Exhibitors who have indicated that they will be selling foodstuffs must abide by the Municipal Health Regulations, which stipulate that no fish or meat products – fresh, frozen, cooked or pickled – are allowed; canned fish/meat is acceptable. Toffee apples, candyfloss, home–baked cakes, biscuits and confectionery may NOT be sold either.

THE SALE OF FIREWORKS IS PROHIBITED.

Defacing of walls and stands

Painting of Hall walls and stands IS NOT ALLOWED.
No exhibitor shall paint, colour-wash or otherwise colour or disfigure any of the walls of any hall or ZITF pre-constructed stand without prior written consent of the Authority or otherwise cause any damage whatsoever to the property of the Authority. Any damage so caused shall be made good at the entire cost and expense of the exhibitor concerned and to that end the Authority shall be entitled to its opinion to cause such repair work as may be necessary to be done and recover the cost thereof from the exhibitor concerned.

The present policy regarding the mutilation of the fabric of any ZITF exhibition hall or preconstructed exhibition stand is:

NO HOLES may be drilled in floors or walls or other fabric of our halls or preconstructed stand.
NO NAILS may be driven into our hall or stand fabric.
NO PAINT or varnish may be applied to floors, walls or ceilings or preconstructed stands.
NO FLOOR COVERING may be stuck down by adhesive. (Double-sided tape is quite acceptable).
CONTRAVENTIONS – Any contractor or exhibitor found contravening these requirements will: in the first instance be required to immediately cease work and before proceeding with their contract, return our property to the condition in which it was found, to the complete satisfaction of ZITF.

If contraventions continue/re-occur the contractor/exhibitor will be immediately denied all access to the exhibition centre, and ZITF will repair/return the area to its original condition, at the contractor’s/exhibitor’s expense.
